Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Crafex website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

Crafex provides a suite of online tools including but not limited to PDF manipulation tools (merge, split, compress, convert, OCR, edit), business document generators (invoice, quotation, receipt, resume, business card), calculators (GST, EMI, profit, discount), expense tracking, inventory management, sales tracking, analytics, reports, and cloud storage. These services are provided by Crafex, founded by Darshan Chawan.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You must not share your account credentials with others.
• You must not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription and Billing

Crafex offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected during checkout.

• Free Plan: Includes limited daily usage of PDF tools and basic features. Business tools and cloud storage are not available on the Free plan.
• Pro Plan: Available at ₹199/month or ₹799/year (pricing subject to change with notice). Includes unlimited PDF operations, unlimited OCR, business tools, cloud storage, priority support, and all future premium features.
• Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Refunds: Refund requests are accepted within 24 hours of purchase subject to verification. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. User Content

You retain full ownership of all documents, files, and content you upload, create, or process using Crafex (“User Content”). Crafex does not claim any intellectual property rights over your User Content.

By using the Services, you grant Crafex a limited, temporary license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services. This license expires when the processing is complete. When Cloud Storage is enabled, you grant Crafex a license to store and retrieve your files for the purpose of providing the storage service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services for:

• Any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Uploading or distributing malicious code, viruses, or harmful software.
• Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of others.
• Uploading content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or obscene.
• Attempting to bypass usage limits, security measures, or payment requirements.
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Services without authorization.

7. Intellectual Property

The Crafex name, logo, brand assets, website design, and software code are the intellectual property of Crafex (Darshan Chawan). You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our intellectual property without explicit written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Crafex integrates with third-party services including Razorpay (payment processing), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Redis (caching), BullMQ (job processing), PostgreSQL (database), Prisma (ORM), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Crafex is not responsible for the actions or omissions of third-party providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crafex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Crafex in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Crafex does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or conduct that may harm other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Services immediately ceases. Your User Content may be deleted from our systems, except where we are required to retain it by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
